Concordia Mens Soccer Euro 2012 Tour by AMsportstours



Day 1. The group arrive and are staying in the centre of Warsaw at hotel MDM. The rooms and hotel offer view of one of the finest pieces of socialist realism - Konstytucji and great access to everything in Poland's capital.

 

After a long flight the group enjoy dinner together in a Polish restaurant.


Matt's body freezes as he exceeds the number of questions he is allowed to ask in one day...

And stumble across a massive statue of Ronald Regan who is regarded by Poles as one of the most important political figures due to his stand against Communism. 


and off to bed after a long day




Day 2. The group head to the Warsaw Rising Museum. The museum is dedicated to the Warsaw uprising of 1944 and contains many artefacts in order to paint of full picture of the people involved.





After the museum we head to the old town where you can see the fantastic Euro 2012 stadium from





Pre-match in the Italian restaurant then back to the hotel and off to game 1.

Coach briefs the team and they go on to win 3-0 in their first game of their 2012 tour!

Day 3 - Concordia play their hardest game of the tour against Legia Warsaw under 19's. Legia are Poland's most successful club and have played in the Champions League.

After a very tough first half coach reorganises his team.



Although a heavy defeat for Concordia the players got to play against some of the future stars of European soccer and also got on the score sheet. Their tour record is now won 1 lost 1 but they certainly lost to Poland's best. Legia have just sold one player for $7,500,000 to a German Club!


After the game we have lunch and walk to the Poland v. Andorra international friendly match at Legia Warsaw's Stadium






Feel the atmosphere and this is just the warm up for the euros!

Poland 4 Andorra 0 as the group watch the game live and see Poland's star player Robert Lewandowski score a great bicycle kick



Day 4. The group have a free morning to relax and then get the train to Krakow.

We arrive in Krakow check into the Hotel Batory and have a team meal and a look around the beautiful city of Krakow.




Day 5. Concordia take the tram to visit Schindler's Factory Museum which is one of Poland's best museums which relates to World War II.





The guys spend 2 hours at Schindlers Factory then head to an Italian restaurant for lunch.



After pre-match meal the Concordia have some free time then head to the game against Bratniak

A penalty is one of Concordia's 5 goals as they win 5-1


Bratniak's Angolan forward is presented with the Pennant.

Concordia's record moves to 2 wins and 1 defeat on tour!
